galvanised steel or aluminium sub-frames create the ideal maintenance-free base on which to build your uPVC composite deck.
Timber sub-frames are usually the material of choice when it comes to decking areas, but there are a number of reasons to consider a sub-frame made from metal.
Durable and Secure
The Liniar sub-frame has been successfully load tested to 500kg/m². Even treated timber, sitting in wet conditions, will soak up moisture from the ground beneath it,
as well as from the deck itself. Because they’re hidden underneath deckboards, timber sub-frames are unable to dry out naturally and will instead ‘sweat’ – a process that will increase the rate at which the timberrots.
As Liniar sub-frames don’t absorb moisture and won’t rust, you can rest assured your deck will be safe and secure for many years to come.
