From the ground up

An absolute must for any decking system is for it to be strong, robust and safe. Liniar's choice of galvanised steel or aluminium sub-frames creates the ideal maintenance-free base on which to build your uPVC composite deck.

Timber sub-frames are traditionally used for decking, but there are a number of reasons to consider a sub-frame made from metal. A metal sub-frame provides a durable alternative beneath the deckboards without the moisture-related concerns associated with timber.

Durable and secure

The Liniar sub-frame has been successfully load tested to 500kg/m², providing a strong and reliable foundation beneath the decking system.

Even treated timber sitting in wet conditions will absorb moisture from the ground beneath it, as well as from the deck itself. Because timber sub-frames are hidden underneath deckboards, they are unable to dry out naturally. Liniar sub-frames don't absorb moisture and won't rust, helping to provide a safe and secure foundation for many years to come.
